Hi Acharya S,

Enjoyed your book immensely, and thank you for telling it like it is, about time someone did. Authors tend to follow each other like sheep, glad you broke the mould!

Writing this from 'God's Country' Scotland. I have believed for a long time, that between Scotland and Ireland this is where, back in the mists of time that 'Pre-Christian Religion' began. And from these shores spread to the world, proof lying everywhere. There again just my idea.

Thanks for a great book.

Dear Acharya:

I own a bookshop.  I have just had a friend lend me your book The Christ Conspiracy, which prompted me to look and see if you had a website prior to reading the book.

I have just read your "Beautiful Christian" emails.  As I said, I have not, as yet, read your book.  Already I love you.  You cannot get god-botherers that angry without doing something right.  I will email after reading the book.

Kind Regards

Hey.  Love your book...

one meaning of "acharya" is "priest", no? Therefore, "Acharya S" = "Priest S" = "Priestess" ? =)

"Acharya" is a common last name among Indians.  It is also an "honorific" title that means several things: Master, guru, teacher, priest of the sun, the latter of which is ironic since I am an expert on solar mythology!

Do you have a response - I could put your response in my new book if you like (I am with YOU on this) the new book will be called Gateway to the Serpent Realm.

I've since seen from reading through Dr. Magee's reader comments a few weeks ago, that you are indeed aware of him, for better or worse. And that you are as well another correspondent of John Kaminski's (from his most recent ad hoc e-mail broadcasts).

BTW, Have you ever seen Donovan Joyce's long out of print "The Jesus Scroll"? Unfortunately, the online version of it has disappeared. If not and in any case, it is an attempt to reconstruct a plausible candidate as his 'real' Jesus, that if true, would seem to be a classic ironic theme reversal of a real rebel against Rome, being merged, over the hundreds of years of editing the prior spiritual only Christology milieu, into a fictional anthropomorphized shill for the new Roman state religion. The new 'universalized' religion to be foisted on the masses and the gullible for more efficient social control. This Jesus, of Joyce's, is of the Maccabean line (the last of the Maccabeans so to speak) who fails to overthrow the Temple Mount and ends up dying at Masada at the age of about 80. Joyce claimed that he got the idea for the premise from his poor treatment in Israel by Yigal Yadin and a chance encounter with some professor that was attempting to smuggle a scroll (authored by this very Jesus) found at Yadin's dig at Masada....

Also, in my earlier e-mail to you, I mentioned Ulansey's work on decoding Mithra. He is claiming now, and seems quite plausible, that Mithra didn't represent the visible Sun but rather a second "unconquered" Sun - beyond the solar system. This being responsible for zodiacal precession. In this regards there is a new theory being proposed which seems very promising to me, that Precession is caused by a red dwarf binary star to our sun. This resolves many anomalies with the current mainstream lunisolar view of the cause, which is actually very old. In case you are not aware, it is now considered fact, that most stars have binary twins instead of being singular.

Also, under this scheme, data from the US Naval Observatory causes one to see that the length of the precession cycle may really be 24,000 years due to non-constant year to year acceleration showing an elliptical progression, rather than circular. Thus yielding 2,000 year average age periods.

Dear Acharya:

What a surprise to hear from you after some time has passed! It is an honor.

I don't really hear about Vipassana very much at all. It used to be much more popular in San Francisco with a local theater showing a recruiting film. I sometimes think of the experience and actually I am surprised that I made it for 7 days without speaking.

Anyway, again, you have accomplished a lot within your lifetime. I grew up in the "Bible Belt" and believe that religion is a form of violence to the human soul. I have said this to a couple of pastors and they turn pale.

I admire you and wish you the best. Continue your quest and you may find some type of holy grail.

Subject: Your book has helped my studies
Date: Mon, 9 Aug 2004 08:41:33 -0400

Dear Acharya S,

Thank you so much for writing this book! I have been on a spiritual quest for 4 years now. In my quest for spiritual growth and enlightenment I began to study myths from around the world , other religions, and bought any book I saw that called to me.

With my best friend and spiritual sister ..., we learned enough of astrology to confirm the connections we thought we saw. We were both blown away and overwhelmed but what we began to see, it was as if a thick veil had been over our eyes and was starting to lift. Your book has confirmed that we are on the right path and the past few years of study was not in vain.

So once again I say thank you!

I grew up UPC (United Pentecostal), I always questioned the god of the old testament. I could not understand why he called himself the destroyer (Exodus 12:29), The Lord is a man of war (Exodus 15:3). Why is he so jealous but punishes man, by poisoning his wife if he is jealous. Why does he have to have a dwelling place such as a mountain, the ark or a temple or even a man! ? Why is he always described as darkness, thick dark clouds, a flame. Why in Isaiah 45:1-8 does he speak of a dual nature?? He punishes his own people for not doing things the right way, for complaining and etc. by death, illness or plagues, what about freewill?? He has his chosen people kill anyone who is not his chosen people (men, women, children, babies, beast and tree's)! Killing of others (who are not his chosen people) is a blessing? (Exodus 32:27-29) He admits to doing/thinking evil (exodus 32;14) . Why is God of the old testament shown as darkness and Jesus shown as light? These where my first question, which my pastor replied...." It is a sin to question the word of god".

I was only 13 at that time, I am now 36 and have in the past few years searched for the answers to these questions. Those brought me to more questions, those lead to learning about the Gnostics, mythology, and my favorite pagan ways.

Oops! I am rambling on! I just am so thankful for you and your book!!!!

You should write one on the power the Pentecostal church has over people, government and etc.. It is a very controlling 100 years old it is second only to Islam in numbers of people who are in it. It is the fastest growing religion in the world, and within a year might surpass Islam in number of followers. There are different types of Pentecostal. I grew up in the worst. UPC, very rich people went to our church and at times I felt we where a breeding ground for rich men's wives. Women can not wear pants, make-up, jewelry, shorts, short sleeves, cut their hair, dance, go to movies, or swim with men, have to be a man's devoted wife to the point of never questioning him no matter what he does. No real rules on the men. It was a hard way to grow up, but has made me the person I am, a seeker. I am of no religion now, for religion is man made. I am spiritual! I do not go to a church, for the very earth is my church! I do not pay tithes to a church so a pastor can buy a new boat, home, clothes or etc.. I give money to seeing eye dogs, vets, and give money to those in need that I meet in my life.

Have a Blessed day!

You sound like a woman after my own heart. In the last couple of years I have had a great awakening. I went through a life-altering Capricorn phase that widened my 3rd eye. (I don't know how astrological you are but I never understood the influence of the celestial bodies until I found out that I was going through a Capricorn phase, did some astrological research and had to admit to myself that it explained a lot of what I was going through at the time.) I am constantly questioning things in a search to get to the bottom of this big mess that we're living in and I wish I personally knew more people (or any people for that matter) with seeking souls and minds. However, you can't liberate someone's heart and mind for them, they have to be open to it and ready to take the journey. It seems like the people that need enlightenment the most are the most impervious to it-and there are many. So my question is this: do you believe that there will be some cataclysmic quantum leap of consciousness that will come to rescue those of us that are open to it or is it up to us save ourselves and each other lest we all turn into an actual machine? I am just curious as to your opinion on this matter because as much as I would like to help liberate minds, it sometimes seems like a losing battle. I'd like to show people the way but I'd also like people to be curious enough to find the way. I'm torn.

Thanks for sharing. I have "wondered" for many years if something "supernatural" would occur to help us out of this mess. I have explored many subjects in this regard and have focused on developing myself in order to assist. However, it seems as if we puny humans are going to be left here to "our" own devices, as depressing as that sounds.

We'll keep on trying!

Sorry to bother you with such a trivial problem, however I need help to put my wife in her place. She's a Jehovah's Witness and knows the bible very well. I on the other hand have very little knowledge of the Bible and it's teachings, and don't have a leg to stand on when we debate anything religious. I've heard that there are contradictions in the bible. My problem is that the ones that I know of, my wife dismisses as misinterpretation of the Truth. Here's where I need your help. Could you kindly mail me a few bullets to fire back at her during our debates? Please choose a few that are not open to interpretation, I'm tired of her leaving me beaten due to my ignorance. Thank you for your time.

Hi. I have suggested that you begin with The Dark Bible.  There are many other sites that dissect the Bible, showing its errancy and atrocities.

OK ... I just bought your book (Christ Conspiracy) but haven't read it yet because I have got too much homework to finish (I am a 55 year old graduate student, so it is my own fault). However, in the spirit of sweeping aside mysticism and looking at the real data, I recommend the following book which is an ambitious and global review of data related to the environment.

Dear Acharya

Fantastic, wonderful, nothing less than a revelation!

I always suspected, now I know.

You reference other experts from other places and unlike so called "Fundie" bible apologists you don't use that lousy work of fiction, the bible.  It never ceases to amaze me how they justify something by cross referencing it from the same source.  I am in Australia and I buy books for my shop from Ingram International in America, can you tell me if they will have your new book?  They have your current one.

Thank you so much.

That would be a movie worth seeing! It's about time that Hollywood came out with a movie that exposes the lie of Jesus Christ for what it truly is. It is a horribly bigoted and sexist religion that promotes mental slavery and this demonic philosophy must be put to rest once and for all. I hope this movies does wonders to awaken the people up to the truth that no man named Jesus Christ ever walked the earth. That Jesus is just the re-telling of older pagan deities that simply personify the sun and the disciples/helpers simply are human archetypes representing the 12 houses of the Zodiac.

Dear Acharya-S,

I found your book in a Goodwill store and am reading it now. It is confirming the thoughts I have about religion since I was very young, I was raised a catholic but I could never understand the killing, murdering and torture from a religion that says God is Love, so stopped going to church and believing in religion about 40 years ago.

Religion is a form of control and power over others.

How can church people explain that a just born baby that has not been baptized will not go to heaven. All the fear that has been put into people because of religion is criminal.  I once bought a bible to see what it was really all about but stopped very soon with it, since it was only about killing and murdering, I don't understand why not more is written about this.
