[Of course, Luther's Reformation caused much turmoil, including the deaths of many Jews. Luther's insights into the nature of Judaism, however, were not exactly unfounded. He was, at first, a bleeding-heart liberal who, because he was a churchman, believed Jews were innocent, godly "chosen people" - until he found out what their texts said about non-Jews and what schemes fanatic adherents had played out on the naive "Goyim." Then he became very angry. Swiss Protestant John Calvin "created a rigid theocracy in Geneva. Morality police inspected household behavior. Harsh punishments were administered for ribaldry, dancing, card-playing, drinking, and other amusements. Theological nonconformists were put to death ... Calvin urged the burning of witches." (James Haught, Holy Horrors) In addition the Church of England, beginning with Henry VIII, and continuing with Elizabeth I, had Catholics and Puritans persecuted and put to death. The Thirty Years War (1616-1648) led to the deaths of millions, both Catholic and Protestant. Catholics and Protestants united to tortured and murder other "heretical" sects such as the Anabaptists. In America, Protestants slaughtered many thousands of "Indians," or Native Americans. In the current age, many American Protestants cause tumult around the globe.
I joined up yesterday ... I hope to find a truth or two here. From what I saw on Acharya's web site, that should not be to difficult a goal. She says things that need saying and this world needs that right now. I gather some bad news has happened and you people are her friends and trying to help. That is a good thing. That is what friends do. I hope that I get to know all of you well enough, that you may look at me as a friend.

I, for one, just hate to even clog up your email program with praises that you don't need. You already know yourself, your work, your part and place. Thanks for sharing it with us. I thoroughly enjoyed reading and certainly appreciate your tender mercy because I see mercy as a death machine, the death of our false perceptions.... LOVE

What types of music, artists, etc., would you recommend? Familiar with the band TOOL? If you're not, you should check them out. They have recommended a few books in their newsletters, and I think just about everyone they recommend, you recommend. As a matter of fact, I found your website by typing "the origin of Satan" (recommended by TOOL) in a search engine, and by clicking on one of the sites, I found a link to your site. Wow! You astound me. The religion/spirituality section is an awesome mindfuck. Thank you so much.
[I personally like most types of music, except C&W and Gospel. Currently I'm fond of XTC's "Dear God" and Shawn Mullin's "Born to Shimmer." My favorite genre of music is "New Wave," the music of the late 70s and early 80s, such as the Earth, Wind and Fire, the Eurythmics, Blondie, the B52s, etc.

Subject: Introduction To Myth
What is Myth? Could it be an underlying principal in which all civilizations since the beginning of time has founded their very existence? Is it the very essence of mankind's unwavering ingredient in which all the mysteries of life is based? The ancient Mystics of old, the few men and women throughout time who have somehow understood the very fabric of reality, have used, parable and myth to explain the universal mind they have connected with throughout their journeys in this ongoing play of space and time. For reasons only known to them, they have made it a sacred law to teach universal principles and to help us know thyself through the principle of allegory and sublime reasoning.
From the Ancient Greeks, to the lands of the Far East. To the secret mystery schools of Ancient Egypt, to the South American empires of the Mayans and Aztecs, there was a powerful force embedded in the teachings of their enlightened ones. The powerful force of symbolism and myth. A way of twisted words and hidden meanings for those few in any given generation to see and hear without the physical eyes or physical ears and to know and follow the inner path of lives journeys....
After long years of trying to unlock their hidden meanings, I finally see the beautiful way in which they taught and the necessary advantage of such a course of study. The dangers of speaking out literally and freely is now very obvious to me. For those who are not ready for such wisdom could easily destroy our planet and wipe out mankind off the face of the Earth and the evil Cabals would have a field day using psychic energy to attain neverending power in a world of money and corruption.
I have noticed that many are still trying to find answers outside themselves. I have noticed that millions upon millions of people are still kneeling to Jesus and still bowing down to the golden Buddha. I know see Egyptian researchers the world over looking for the so-called body of Osiris and his resting place. I wonder if these researchers will look for the burial place of Zeus and Apollo. I wonder if they will try to find the tomb of the elephant-headed man Ganesh and the dog-headed Anubis?? This is not to mentioned the many armed Shiva of Hindu tradition. Do these researchers really believe these characters walked the face of the earth? Are they leading us to believe that a man with an elephant head exists? Or a winged horse was once flying around the landscape of Ancient Greece?? I find this to be against all logic and the notion of these mythical figures being real entities that have walked the face of the earth in the times of old are very preposterous indeed! What on earth has mankind missed in all these years of so-called growth and scientific achievement? Have they missed the true meaning of myth? Have they misunderstood the true meanings behind these mythological creatures and the fairy tale adventure stories that go with them?
Are we to believe as rational human beings that their was a Moses that turned the Nile into blood? Or God opening up the Red Sea to protect his chosen race while drowning thousands of young Egyptian soldiers in the aftermath? What are these stories written by our ancient mystics really trying to explain? Did it ever pass your mind that maybe these stories are talking about the story of human consciousness and the worlds of energy and thought? Is there and inner meaning behind all these irrational adventure stories?
In the coming months, my web site will try to explore these tantalizing questions, and try to once again bring back the myth in our society like the Egyptian Phoenix rising out of the ashes. Like the great Joseph Campbell said: "Religion is nothing more than misunderstood mythology"....
[Yes, there is meaning to these myths. They revolve in large part around the celestial and terrestrial bodies and forces. I have outlined much of this information in The Christ Conspiracy.
Subject: why are people so dumb?
... I know you are going thru really shitty times right now and dealing with a lot of crap from people. It still amazes me how unappreciative some people can be of another person who is busting their ass trying to help and educate humanity. Even though it probably doesn't mean much I just wanted to say that you have helped me a lot and I really appreciate and admire the work you are doing. Your website made me finally realize what a joke Christianity is. I had always been suspicious of it (especially when ministers couldn't answer questions I asked them about god and problems I had noticed with the bible).
Please don't ever give up what you are doing. Your message is extremely important and needs to be heard by everyone. You gave me a greater sense of self worth after reading your website. Christianity is all about putting people down for being evil, unworthy sinners that aren't good for anything. You are fighting this concept and maybe someday that idea will be completely abolished.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I am very grateful for you and your website....

I have read you web site and I enjoyed it very much.... I am also working along the same path. But I have one question for you: You have called Christians liars many times in your site, but you forgot to call the Jews liars also. Will you admit, based on your premise that the Bible is meant to be taken symbolically instead of literally, that the state of Israel is not meant to be a piece of Real Estate but in fact something totally different?? Are you willing to scream bloody murder, based on your research and evidence that the Jews have perpetrated a lie on the world to gain a political stronghold and a place in the neighborhood of world nations by using false doctrine to get a nation and steal it from the people who already lived there?? Could it not be that Christianity was brought into existence only to strengthen Jewish power around the world and by supporting a so-called state of Israel and claiming them as the chosen people of God?? Please let me know.
[Absolutely agreed. On my site I have pounded the living crap out of the Jewish supremacist mentality, so much so that I am accused of "libel" and "slander." In my book The Christ Conspiracy I basically demonstrate that Christianity was created in large part by Judeans/Israelites bent on world domination. BTW, I don't really "call Christians liars." The word "liar" is not used more than a couple times on my entire site.

Subject: bible code...
Been meaning to ask your opinion of the "Bible Code." I read the best seller book (I can't remember the author (written by an atheist), I loaned the book out and it is lost). Seems interesting... some rather "high-powered" individuals are claiming it to be all true!
[Howdy. the CSICOPs, for one, have demonstrated that it is possible to find such "codes" in just about every writing, including Moby Dick. Finding the "miraculous" in a manmade book such as the Bible is always advantageous to certain people. I read The Bible Code and found its reasoning flawed and logic puerile.

My god, (?), beautiful and smart. Doesn't the Bible preach that's not possible? Must be the work of the devil. Just found your site, have liked what I've read so far. Good to hear others who see the great lie of religions. Sometimes it feels Like I'm all alone in my views when talking to the "common man",or worse yet when not talking, because my views tend to upset the masses. Lenin may not have been right in all his writings, but "opiate for the masses" sums up religion for me. Keep up the good fight,
OK so it was Marx. Been doing some more reading, on your site. I'll have to think about this UFO stuff. Seems like we may be exchanging one eye in the sky for another. Other life in the universe is of course likely. Just not ready to accept them walking among us.

... If the CONTROLLERS made this up about Jesus, gathering data and making it into a history that would give them control over others, doesn't mean the mystical information used cannot be of some use to those who need a type of BRIDGE to move from truth to truth.... In other words, we don't have to throw it all out the window, we just have to see that it is a mystical teaching that has deeper meaning. It is almost like the government that Icke speaks of in that they outwardly want us to believe they are for PEACE, LOVE and HARMONY among mankind and all the while they are in their meeting rooms deciding who to bomb next to make the most of their mighty big bucks $.
I am definitely getting your book. Can I get it at Barnes and Noble or any bookstore? ...
I feel the Universe is providing me with something needed in my life at this time, an that is your willingness to stay in contact with me....
... thanks again for sharing.... The best to you in all that you are attempting to (and doing!) manifest in your life at this time and in the future.
[Thanks. My book The Christ Conspiracy can be ordered through bookstores - the more people ask for it, the more chances they will carry it. Hint, hint. Just be sure to include the ISBN when making a request: 0-932813-74-7

Hello I was reading more on your site, and it's amazing. I can't believe someone has discounted organized religion, yet retained the finer essence of eastern thought (spirituality). After undergoing tremendous mental anguish and breaking from X-tianity, I read freethought from people who considered any metaphysical belief to be superstitious, which excluded me. So your thoughts are consoling. It's also awesome that you have read Sitchin. Every time I feel depressed about not having the "high" of what Jesus used to do for me, I read to Sitchin, von Daniken, blah, blah, etc. Unfortunately, I think some of his stuff is a little whacked, but I think he is mostly right. Anyway I didn't just write to be an ass smooch. I wrote to tell you about a X-tian. I have debated this guy, online a while back he believes ... Jesus was god, yet there is no trinity, and while he's not exactly a fundy he seem to think he has the ability to explain away any contradiction in the Bible with his superb knowledge of near east languages, and Jesus inspired Faith. Nobody to date has pissed me off more than him....
P.S. he says Jesus came to him and his wife in a divine revelation, I guess you were wrong about Jesus not existing. Take care
[Thanks! Great to hear that it's been helpful. Sometimes it's quite thankless ... I've had too many "spiritual" or esoteric experiences to be a hardcore materialist. I've got a very active right brain. Such is the realm of creativity, which I consider mystical. The hardcore materialists don't seem to consider that! I'm not a Sitchinite, as you may know. He's got quite a bit wrong, actually. He's an orthodox Israeli Jew with an agenda, unfortunately.... You can pass my book along to your friend, and tell him that Mickey Mouse has come to me in a vision, so has Krishna. I guess that proves they're real too. Mickey Mouse was quite adamant that we follow HIM. Baci.

What's the deal with that new book? Is it available yet or no? I'm *really* interested in how the ministry of Christ is portrayed in the Zodiac ... that's one of my favorite subjects (!) but unfortunately, no one has really looked into it... You have the signs of the zodiac on the cover of your book... does this mean there will be a lot of info on that in it? If so... how much? Do you know of any other books that give info on the Zodiac portraying mythological and Biblical stuff? I know of the 3 kings of Orion's belt (3 wise men or magi probably), Virgo with Spica in arms, Draco poised ready to attack her (probably started the story of evil kings ready to kill the infant savior), the Winter solstice (sun dies for 3 days), and a couple others ... I would *really* appreciate your help. Thanks :)
[Yes, the book goes into the astrology or astrotheology of the Bible. In fact, that's what The Christ Conspiracy reveals.

Subject: Your Site
... I have just recently discovered your site. You know you're going to burn in "hell" right? Ha ha ha... just kidding. I think I've dealt with fundamentalists so long that I could easily portray one (especially in cases where it helps to show them how ignorant they sound). It is very rare that I would actually stop and take time to write someone, but I feel you deserve that from me. I am a 23-year-old "Pantheist" who has recently become so certain of "no purpose of our existence" that life has become greater than I could ever imagine....
I was raised in a Baptist/Methodist household and started questioning "God" when I was about 9 years old. It was this first hand experience that made me question it. The manipulation, the fabrication, and the hate for other religions in the name of "God" didn't make sense in my mind. Ever since then I have been on a quest for truth. Over the past two years I've read almost every book Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawking, and Michael Shermer have written. I've even read The Boomer Bible (great book).
I had a wonderful relationship ruined by differences in beliefs. Basically my significant other believed that if we got married, grew old together, and passed away, that I wouldn't be in "heaven" with her. I ended up having to dump her for being incapable of free thought. You can imagine how bland the conversation at dinner was. She once asked me why didn't the sun fall out of the sky (evidence of where the sun god idea began, it could be so easily conceived).
... I know you've dealt with it more than I. I just wanted to take time to tell you that I am behind you one hundred percent. I think our species is in trouble due to ignorance, and education is the only thing that can save us. I think if we can survive another 100 years we'll be lucky, but I think 100 years is enough time to rid the world of superstitious majority. The way to fight religion is with religion. "Preaching of the truth." It may be hypocritical to do so, but I firmly believe that we'll have to fight fire with fire.... My ultimate fear is that the majority of our species is just plain stupid, and they won't be able to understand the truth anyway. With the emergence of the Internet and the awesome power it brings to deliver message, we can harness it and create a following - a new "truth" religion. I would like to call it "Realism". You could just call me a "Realist", or "Realitan". You could very well be putting yourself in danger doing so, (as history shows us) but there's always safety in numbers, and the numbers can be achieved through this new medium....
