You are a brilliant writer.  Your essays prove that you are an intelligent person, your pics prove that you are much better looking than an old male professor as well.

I want to let you know how much I have enjoyed your page regarding the origins of Christianity.  I took a mythology class in college, and we touched on this subject after reading essays by Jane Ellen Harrison and James Frazer's The Golden Bough.  However, I found much more in depth information on your page.

I read some of your essays and tend to be in harmony with most of your views.  I also appreciate your often humorous style of writing.  You come off as a genuinely concerned intelligent person... NOT a crackpot trying to make a buck off of rants.  Thanks for not trying to sell t-shirts or bumper stickers.   Pardon my pessimism but isn't it already too late to wake up enough people to make a difference when it comes to avoiding humanity's slide into a new dark ages?  Weapons of mass destruction are already in the hands of humans who reside in the shallow end of the gene pool.  It's just a matter of time until The Big Screw happens.   Meanwhile, more and more groups form Us vs. Them ideologies acting out oppositions in ever-increasing violence.  It seems to me that only a worldwide quantum leap in evolution is required for survival.

I just visited your site and I am very impressed.  Where do you find the time to write all of your information?  ...  I am a spiritual person who feels pretty much the same way you do regarding religions ...

I saw your picture ... not bad for a scholar <smile.

What a prolific amount of information you offered!  I have just discovered writings about the myths of the bible and just can't seem to get enough.  One thing I have learned by becoming knowledgeable about these "forbidden" topics is, people get pissed off at you.  They just don't want to hear anything that might shake the foundation of their "faith."  I look forward to updates and am actively seeking some of the books you have mentioned, but as you are probably aware, they are not at the local library.

Thanks.  It's been a real eye opener.

... Your site is hard for me to find with key words!  I think I originally found it looking for the words "Kersey Graves" ...

Your main article HAS expanded!  Took me a couple hours to go through it and the footnotes. Fascinating material. I'm sure there was SOME original thinking by Christian writers, but it's remarkable how many of  their stories and traditions were copied.

I used to think that the first person to appear in the bible who actually existed was Abraham or perhaps his father. But you show that he and Moses, and presumably everyone in between, were also fictional! So who WAS the first?  King David?  Saul before him?  Are they historical?  [No. ...

I had an exchange a few months ago with a friend who was pushing the impending computer chip implants with the 666 code as the Revelation prophecy being fulfilled. I made two points: (1) There are many number combinations in the making up of something that complex. It's not surprising that you can find a 666 somewhere. (2) Even if events DO turn out that way, it would be an obvious case of people purposely setting things up the parallel the bible story.  Then, just a couple days later, I checked into your site and, for the first time, read your article "Prophecy or Blueprint?" I felt vindicated!

Take care. Your site and work are great! Be grateful the church isn't as powerful here as it used to be!

Fantastic site. I will be spending a LOT of time following up the various links.

A note in passing:  a friend of mine stated to me that he is an atheist.  "Really?" was my comment.  He looks me right in the eye, raises his hand and responds "Swear to god ... "

Keep shining the light.

I would like to thank you for your awesome pages about God/Religion/Spirituality.  I have been working on similar pages, myself, and would like to add links to your pages.  You have done a wonderful job and created a valuable resource for anyone dedicated to uncovering the truth about religion-as-we-know-it.

Your page is very impressive, must have taken a "hell" of a time to build it up.  There is so much information I would need many days reading all of it (for now I've only read what I needed).

I like your point of view on many subjects, and I must admit that I'm a thinker too...

I must stop it here for now, but I just wanted to encourage you in your quest of truth ( I'm also a lost knight in a quest  of knowledge).
