Acharya, You were indeed talking to two different people. My mother and I have been e-mailing you, at first I used my mothers e-mail because I could not get into my own. If you go back you can see that I placed my name at the end of the letter. anyway, what makes you think I have not read your silly information? I think that you are extremly confused, it don't take a old, experienced person to see that or for a matter of fact a rocket scienceTIST. Age does not matter one bit to me, I do agree with you when you say life is know fairy tale. it just seems so funny how you can sat there at your computer and contine mocking people. The reason I keep e-mailing you for is becuase I don't understand still what you see in your belif, what do you have to look forward to? you never answeres the quesion? The only truth to be known here is that you are not being real with yourself. It is really great how you down grade everyone, is this what your organization dose to people besides brain-wash. I think all the books on the different religions messed you up and i think that you really don't know what to believe so you follow others ways. Before you can call someone the names in which you call them, sit down and ask yourself this. in what ways has the God in which you belive in helped you? I think you feel very very badly about yourself and you are at a dead in, right?? Yes, I think that this is true. You mixed all the information that you recieved into one big made up religion. Hell my dear is know joke.....

I apologise sincerely for somehow attaching my message as a forward. Forwards are indeed aggravating to actually open and read. But.... please read it. I genuinely want to connect with you through my words. Isn't communication the key? to balance, to ponderous thinking, to realisation, to actualisation? I think it is.

After thousands of years and perhaps many more degrading comments made by Western religions toward all other religions, it comes to light (no pun intended, you shall see) that all human cultures that have ever existed did or do worship the sun, revere the sun, fear the sun; and this includes the "snippish," if you will, as well as hypocritical Western culture. I find that to be a remarkable fact indeed.... one of those facts which I partially had known half-consciously but failed to dissect and understand. The web site which I visited (www.truthbeknown.com/origins.htm) made for a striking reading experience, and I do mean what I say: you may be assured of this. It is late and I feel like.... I suppose I feel like an undercooked hamburger or perhaps a shoelace that has lain in mud for several months. Months, a compilation of weeks; not merely weeks, you understand. Do you? Sheesh, I could be a banana who has achieved a conscious state of nirvana for the first and last and sole time, of course sole because it is first and last! It is gloriously breathtaking! *cough* I simply must get some sleep. Groovae, eh? Sleep? "Regression to the ego: merely, I promise you."

Dear Acharyaji:

Thank you for your letter. I have found 20 odd books in the market challenging the existence of historical Jesus but your book is the most elaborate and scholarly. You are right that I want it to translate in Indian languages mainly in Bangla and Hindi and also in Naga if possible. Obviously this is not for economic purpose. Possibly I have to make an extract from the book because it is rather big for lay people. Do you have the copy right of the book? I am not a professional publisher nor a businessman. I am afraid that I can not pay any royalty now. But if I can at all publish the translations and make any profit, I will certainly split it with the author. Let me explain my purpose of translating this book. I find that wherever Christians are gaining majority in India they are starting secessionist movements. Nothing to object if somebody accepts Christianity but it is obvious that they are getting some anti-India feelings along with the Christianity. So that they start hating their own people, own culture and even own relatives overnight. At least a few verses of the Bible are very true. "Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; no, I have not come to bring peace but a sword. I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. One's foe will be one's own family members." (Mathew 10:34,35, 36). This is so true! The result is secessionist movements in all Christian majority States, viz Nagaland (87.4%Christians), Mizoram (83.4%), Meghalaya (64%) and Arunachal (56%). In 1961 census the Christian population in these states were between 0-2%. Vivekananda rightly pointed out more than 100 years ago that when a Hindu changed his religion, not only a member of Hindu was reduced but also an enemy of Hindus was increased. In 1956 the Niyogi commission reported the same thing. So I found that any act of conversion is an attack on India's integrity, so I am determined to prevent it. I don't believe in any kind of religious fanaticism or religious enmity but I have to prevent my own people from turning against our own country. I also regularly monitor the Papal Biblicals, which are often shocking. So your book might be a great tool for anti-conversion campaign in India. Please give me your valuable opinion in this matter. Thanks a lot and great regards. PS: Did the Christians try to harass you in any way?

More goofiness "in Jesus sight" ... Man, they're like a broken record. Playing screetching sounds over and over again.

******* wrote:> Hello, I am 19 years of age and a follower of Jesus Christ. I don't really understand how you yourself can sit a call people ignorant. Did you know that the first and oldest book ever written was the Bible? It was... There is astonding evidence that makes Jesus real. Let me tell you this a right now there is know way that you can say or do that can change the way I feel for my Lord. When I was saved ( I remember it like yesterday)I was sitting in a pue at a Baptist Church that my aunt attended. I was holding a doll that my aunt had made for me, this was my first time at this church. I was very shy and I knew no one and no one knew me. I sat patientily for the service to end because I wanted out so I could return back home, the smell of this church made me uncomfortable. Well, as the service went to a end we all stood for the alter call with a song and than the pastor said if there is anyone here who don't know Jesus as there personal savior please come forward. I began to shake and tremble and I did not know why and than the next thing I remember is I began to move out of my seat ( I felt like I was floating up there) I did not now why I was ,moveing when I did not really want to go. Something was pulling me and than the tears began to flow from my eyes and than I began to cry out to God with all my heart. I was not expecting to get saved, I was just going to church and useing this as my ritual of being a Christian ( because I thought I was a christain already) but the unexpected happened to me that day. I could remember afterward the joy I had inside, I felt this burden lift off my shoulders. I was a new person, born again. I was know longer was a follower of this world but a follower of God. I belived in my heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for me and if I was the only one here on earth he still would of died for me. A week later I was baptist because I wanted to obey God , afterward me and my mother went to taco bell I was was just so happy. I could not seat still all the hairs on top of my arm were standing straight up and all I wanted to do was share jesus with everyone because I wanted them to feel what I was feeling. I did not know what this feeling was but as the Bible says it is this joy that comes from the father and from the father as a gift he gives us the holy spirit. You may belive in the power of yourself but I belive in the power of Jesus Christ. I know longer go to chuch, useing it as one of my rituals ( I don't belive in rituals) but I go so I can join up with others to give the Lord the praise he deserves. Please take time and re exaim the evidence you wrongfully looked over and be not stubborn but open minded. There are no big U's and little I's, we are all equal in Jesus sight. John 3:16 For God so love the world (all people) that he gave his only begotten son ( he made a sacrafice for us) that whosoever beliveth in him (puts all faith and trust in him) should not perish ( go to suffer in hell) but have eternal life ( we will not die, we will be in heavens court forever and eternity). God is good when? God is good all the time!!!!!!!! Love in Christ, ****** MY GOD IS SO GOD GOOD SO STRONG AND SO MIGHTY THERES NOTHING MY GOD CAN NOT DO.

Acharya, Recently finished "Christ Conspiracy" + really enjoyed it! Also recently read one of those occult history books by one of those British writers. It was actually very informative + this guy seemed to know what hewas talking about. An interesting fact (which was new to me) is that the individual who actually "cinched" the Russian throne for Catherine the Great was the (need I add) mysterious Compte de Saint Germaine. In fact, due to her gratitude, she apparently kept all Masonic lodges in Russia under her personal protection. the author briefly recounted the belief that the Count's legendary powers were thought to have come from his "..secret initiation into rituals of Tantric magic." Now if we put this ("some" level of influence from a Tantric mystic) together with the fact that the estimable Catherine was a notoriously sexy lady, what have we got--if anything? I leave this question to you, oh wise lady.

Dear Acharya Thanks for taking your time to respond to my questions concerning Ammachi. Your answers hit close to home. Especially since my wife has been a member of SRF for almost 15 years. I was involved for about two or three years during the late 80's. Both my wife and I were members of Ananda Self Realization Fellowship, an illigitimate child of SRF founded by Don Walters, AKA Swami Kriyananda, but when they wanted us to sell our house and invest all our money in their local spiritual community we went our separate ways with my wife continuing with the local SRF and me going into the spiritual wilderness of channeling. Out of all the Guru worship you mention, Ammachi is of interest because she appears to be a product of extreme child abuse, that is, if the stories about her are true. One story of interest is her giving away her mother's gold bangle (an arm braclet used to balance energy) to a beggar. Taken from a western viewpoint,we could be hearing about an abused child who is taking revenge on her mother. Anyway, I would like to have Alice Miller's analysis on this one although I do not think she subscribes to this list. I enjoyed reading your hummingbird story. You may have only misinterpreted the hummingbirds message however, which could be, "take only exactly what your need in its most essential form":) Or then, you attracted the hummingbird so you could give yourself persmission to make a big mistake. Either way it works. Thanks for the scoop on SRF. That gave me a comforting, emotional release. I think maybe followers of religions tend to be blind to the similarities in the religious structures. For example, how different is the experience of the born again Christian giving herself to Christ and the Guru follower giving herself to the Guru. Are they feeling the same elation? (Isn't that what they are after anyway?) My enlightned friends will visit Ammachi and feel "her" vibration (its their vibration they are feeling) and our primitive Christian friends will be in ectasy giving themselves to Guru Jesus. So what is the difference? From discussions with people it seems that it is difficult to accept that the feelings they have around a Guru, Spiritual Leader etc are less the vibrations of the leader but the vibrations (feeling states) of the themselves. Perhaps we will start owning our spirituality rather than projecting it. (whoops, is this a rant??) I read Christ Conspiracy. Thanks, it is freeing and probably from the big spirit projector that says its all outside of ourselves.

I don't know that Ammachi was a victim of child abuse. Like many places, India can be tough on children--and adults. I have since had an opportunity to observe Ammachi fairly close up and to skim some of her astoundingly voluminous accomplishments. I am amazed that any human being can accomplish so much. Ammach is a rare and remarkable character. I don't think that she is, as her followers believe, the Divine Mother of the Cosmos, nor am I stunned by her insights, which include an unquestioned and unabashed belief in Lord Krishna as a "real" entity. However, again, her accomplishments are simply astounding.

I think a little psychoanalysis is in order. These folk have a right to believe, so what's their problem. Their Jesus, if he were real and a true son of god and a saviour, certainly doesn't need their advocacy or defense. You can't "ruin" a belief or faith in something that it is obviously and intuitively true. Who would even believe someone who said something so patently false as the sun "rises" in the west and set's in the east". I think these people are fearful, that others will come to their senses, and eventually they will be left standing all alone with their faith and belief, and thus be shown for what they are - idiots.

As Ibsen said: "Deprive man of his life lie and you rob him of his happiness." Still, if their faith was strong enough then it wouldn't matter what anybody else said, would it? Makes you wonder just what they are really afraid of... having their beliefs discredited and being made to look a fool, or having the comfortable rug of salvation pulled out from under their feet? True personal responsibility can be a terrible burden to bear for those who aren't ready for it...

Salut All, Our Fearless Leader recently posted one of my favourite excerpts from the Psalms of David: "Happy shall be he who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock!" I thought the Listmembers might chuckle (or cringe) over an explanation that was provided to me once by an Eastern Orthodox priest as to the *real* meaning of this bloody-minded verse. According to him, what god *really* meant was that "happy shall be he who takes his own sins and eradicates them." Of course, god wouldn't really suggest infanticide!!! (But check out god's commands as regards the hebraic takeover of several Canaanite cities, which they in fact stole from the genuine "original" inhabitants ... now I wonder what he "really" meant when he ordered the extermination of every man, woman and child ... and beast?) The sanctimoniously convoluted arguments and incredible lengths to which the exponents (and defenders) of the abrahamic "familiy of religions" will go to in order to "rationalise" the irrationality and bloodlust of both their scriptures and their theological foundations is truly a wonder to behold, is it not? If sophistry were an Olympic event I believe these people might fairly well be crushed under the weight of the gold medals they would earn.

In his book, Jewish History, Jewish Religion, The Weight of Three Thousand Years... Professor Israel Shahak quotes Martin Luther in 1543 who wrote in "Von den Juden und Ihren Lugen":

"Does not their Talmud say, and do not their rabbis write, that it is nosin to kill if a Jew kills a heathen, but it is a sin if he kills a brother in Israel? It is no sin if he does not keep his oath to a heathen. Therefore, to steal and rob, as they do with their usury, from a heathen is a divine service. For they hold that they cannot be too hard on us nor sin against us, because they are of the noble blood and circumcised saints; we, however, are cursed goyim. And they are the masters of the world, and we are their servants, yea, their cattle... "Should someone think that I am saying too much, I am not saying too much, but much too little. For I see in their writings how they curse usgoyim and wish us all evil in their schools and their prayers." The Jews responded to Luther like they responded to all the others. Theyput him down as just another "hater," blinded by religious bigotry. And today that's still the Jews' standard answer to everyone who says or writes anything about them except the most fawning praise."

....Yeah, I noticed that people will do anything as to, as you put it, 'maintain their shaky faith'. I had my doubts about their website, but I decided to send it your way since you know more about the subject than I do. Especially since they dated the gospels to be 'no later than 70CE' I mean, wtf? Even if they were written by that time, it still wouldn't be by the apostles, since they were martyed and killed sometime soon after Christ's death 'accourding to the scriptures' anyway. They would be like, 90-120 years old when they supposably 'wrote it'. Which doesn't make since anyway, even if their existance wasn't in question. Another thing, Eve is Hebrew for "life," and Adam is "Man," Abel is "fleeting breath off wind," Cain is "ownership" and "Noah" is "rest" and the rest of the OT names also have a meaning. But Christians take them as being actual persons, when they clearly were just symbolic metaphors. Same with the 'Garden Of Eden' when 'Eden' means 'Womb' and 'Tree' is a metaphor for 'Spine' etc etc etc. The 'Flood' myth can also be traced back to earlier cultures and religions prior to the Old Testament.

Date:  Mon, 16 Oct 2000

This is VERY important.  Acharya's Book needs to be translated into AT LEAST as many languages as the BIBBLE is. Luckily, technology may SOON be on our side. The first task would be to be a plain text ascii version of the book, so that a computer can chomp on it. The other benefit of getting a electronic plain text version out is that we could parcel out chapters to translators all over the world in a many hands makes light work approach.  Also, and this one seems counter intuitive, but it is best to make your stuff available to as many people as possible for FREE, i.e. downloadable. The reason for this is that you will actually SELL more copies !!!!  As hard as this is to understand it is NEVER the LESS TRUE. Most people will not print out the entire book from the web, but they will be exposed to it and then buy it. Also a full text online version is KEY WORD SEARCHABLE.  We want Achaya''s seminal work to REPLACE the BIBBLE. We want it to be just like the bible in every sense only opposite, so it should be CHAPTER and VERSABLE, i.e. BOOK/CHAPTER/VERSE CITABLE.  This will facilitate scholarly, misrepresentation resistant, discussion and communication of the ANTI-BIBLE.  Okay, maybe all of the ideas expressed above could be better expressed, but this was my off the cuff thoughts on the matter.  One last thought, another advantage to having it on the web, is that I could design an interface that would allow anyone to create inline annotations, as a template that could be viewed WITH the e-book online, as well as facilitate the translation VIA the WEB, by ANYONE who wants to make a stab at it, and peer review can refine these translations.  Collaborative computing, via computer mediated communicaiton can make the task of translation basically FREE.

Thanks a lot for your inspiring letter. I guessed that it was a pseudonym and I also guess that the picture in the back cover is not yours. Anyway it is a good idea. Actually I was trying to understand what was your inspiration to write such a revolutionary book; was it for sake of history and truth or you really want to bring a revolution against two millenium old fabrication. I would not mind the falsehood of Christianity if it could really make people happy (Ofcourse I have big respect for preserving true history)but it came as a curse for the mankind. And this falsehood hurt me personally as it threatened the integrity of my country, which is a living entity for me, not just a congregation of soil, trees and mountains. Have you ever visited the tribal villeges of India? You could see the misssionaries convert the tribal people just by giving a T-shirt, a pair of beach sliper or just chocolate to the young people. I totally agree with your ideas to proceed. I will discuss it in my next mail. I am in hurry now. thanks again
